QA Tester (2013 - 2016)

APB Reloaded is a 3rd-person MMO where players team up against rivals to take part in massive gunfights, race fast cars and customise your vehicles and characters.

My first role in game development was as a QA tester on the free to play 3rd-person action MMO “APB Reloaded”. It was in this role that I learned the basics of how studios make games, and the challenges involved with their operation. During this time, I was working for a third party QA company called “Proper QA”, and was also involved with the testing of other Gamersfirst produced projects, such as APB Retribution (Mobile) and Fallen Earth (PC)

  • Running playtests.

  • Community engagement.

  • Build testing and deployment verification.
